12.

When the person engaged is not in the Colony,

the Crown Agents for the Colonjes, when duly authorized

by the Government, or by the Secretary of State for the

Colonies, shall be entitled to exercise any of the powers

of the Government under this Agreement.

and do not form part of the Agreement.
